When I first started traveling with my dog, I was a bit nervous about finding the right places that would welcome us both. But over time, I discovered a whole new world of dog-friendly destinations that made traveling a joy for both of us. One of our favorite spots has to be the local parks that have designated dog areas, where my pup can run free and interact with other dogs. We’ve also found some amazing beach towns where dogs are welcome to explore the shorelines, run along the sand, and even take a dip in the ocean. It’s always a treat to find cafes with outdoor seating where dogs are not just allowed, but encouraged to join their humans for a meal. One of the most memorable moments was when we took a trip to a dog-friendly mountain trail. The hike was challenging, but seeing the joy in my dog’s eyes as he explored new scents and terrains made it all worth it. From nature parks to cozy pet-friendly accommodations, the world is full of places where dogs are treated like family, and that makes traveling with a pet an unforgettable experience.
